The interactive soundsystem usomo is part of the exhibition “Evidence. Soundwalk Collective & Patti Smith” at the Centre Pompidou Paris.
With the starting points of music and poetry, the multidisciplinary exhibition is an audio-visual collage on the infinite and the universal. This total artwork is based on „Perfect Vision“, a triptych of albums co-created by Soundwalk Collective and Patti Smith, inspired by the writings of three emblematic French poets: Antonin Artaud, Arthur Rimbaud and René Daumal. They all travelled to faraway landscapes in search of vision and the metaphysical, journeys that have been translated into music and abstract soundscapes by the Soundwalk Collective in a dialogue with Patti Smith and her poetry. Only with usomo it was possible to translate through sound their mindset and art in the shape of film, drawing, poetry, and objects in a very immersive way. usomo was responsible for the spatial sound concept as well as the spatial sound production.
